What does this actually change for me?

Privacy

A short, human privacy policy.

Newsletter signups

When you join the AI Solved X newsletter, we store your email address so we can send the brief you requested. We do not sell your email address or use it for unrelated advertising.

Email delivery

We use Buttondown to confirm subscriptions, send the newsletter, and manage unsubscribe requests. Buttondown receives the information needed to deliver and manage those emails.

Anonymous reader analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read, whether readers join the newsletter, and when a primary-research link is used. Analytics does not load unless you choose “Allow anonymous analytics.” We have disabled Google signals. You can reset your choice by clearing site data for aisolvedx.com in your browser.

Your choice

Every newsletter will include an unsubscribe link. You can leave at any time, and we will stop sending marketing email to that address.

Reader voting

Voting uses a random browser cookie, lasting up to one year, to remember one choice per poll. We store that identifier, your choice, and the time of your vote; only combined totals are public. You can update or remove your vote on the homepage. The cookie is separate from analytics and does not require an email address. Clearing it prevents us from recognizing your previous vote. To limit automated voting, we also keep a daily hashed connection identifier and an attempt count; expired counters are removed during later voting requests. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the voting database. Guess-the-result answers stay in the current page; with analytics consent, we record the story and whether the answer was correct.

Questions

Until a dedicated editorial inbox is published, privacy questions can be submitted through the contact information associated with the aisolvedx.com domain.
